World-class liver dumplings! Lovely outdoor seating. The food took a very long time even though it wasn't very busy. However, it was worth the wait because there was nothing to complain about with the food.
Very friendly and attentive service. The food was very quick, hot, and, above all, perfectly prepared. There was absolutely nothing to complain about the rum steak and other meat dishes! I've rarely had such a well-aged piece of this size! The salad was freshly prepared. The accompanying sauce was refreshing and very tasty. The prices were absolutely reasonable! The ambiance pays homage to the former owner and, in my opinion, could be described as nostalgic. I personally thought it was absolutely fitting...We'd be happy to come back!
Since the old association dissolved, there have been major changes. Nevertheless, it's nice that the chicken farmers continue to run the property and keep their animals there. The business is still going, but the prices are rather high, and the service was rather subdued.
We were there for a family gathering. Friendly service, and despite the busy Saturday, everything went quite quickly! Really good Palatinate regional cuisine.

Today, I ended up here again on a bike ride for the first time in many years. The food is still as good as it used to be at Hannes'... The price/performance ratio is absolutely perfect... Both the service staff were very friendly and nice... It was lovely... Dogs are welcome.

The restaurant at the Bird Park - Iggelheim deserves a full 5 stars. Even without Hans Freistadt, it's still a great restaurant with a sporty flair. Zora, the partner of the "singing boxer," who runs the restaurant, idyllically situated in the forest after his death, is a must-visit, and not just for coffee and cake. For the value for money, the attentive yet friendly service team, and the various culinary delights that Zora still conjures up, I have to give it 5 ☆☆☆☆☆. Great location, plenty of parking, and a children's playground and cozy beer garden are wheelchair accessible. We've been coming here for decades and always enjoy coming back with friends and acquaintances.
